Through a Sustainability in Packaging course at Ryerson University, I was allowed the opportunity to work with a group of students to reimagine an existing product's packaging system into a more environmentally conscious one. Using software such as C.O.M.P.A.S.S., a  life cycle assessment to analyze the environmental factors of an array of materials and process, my group came up with a new packaging system for Old Spice's Roll-on Deodorant packaging methods. We choose a reusable cardboard container made from recycled materials to contain the bar of deodorant. Within the group, we worked together to do the analysis and develop the idea. From here, I created the designs and final renderings of the new product.
